A story headlined "Downtowners push for own tax," which appeared Wednesday, Sept. 7, on Page C1, incorrectly stated who will be required to pay an assessment under the proposed plan. The Bend Downtowners Association plans to ask the city of Bend to establish a tax in the new district.....
