Affordable housing in Bend is a thing of the past

Thanks for the Aug. 21 article on affordable housing here in Bend. The Land Trust is to be congratulated for making an attempt to keep alive the dream of home ownership. Housing prices in Bend, as in so many other desirable places, are obscene.

Unfortunately, one or two affordable houses a year....
