Councilors want to tighten height rules on buildings

City councilors agreed Wednesday that they want to tighten building height rules to prevent builders from going beyond new height limits that range between 45 feet and 70 feet downtown.

But a majority of councilors said they didn't support reducing the maximum 70-foot height limit east of Bond....
