The Oregon State Parks Department will give free tours of Fort Rock Cave, one of the state's prime archaeological sites, Sept. 1 through Oct. 15, subject to staff availability.

Fort Rock Cave is the place where Luther Cressman uncovered many 9,000-year-old sagebrush sandal remnants. It's closed....
