BendFilm receives key funds

The BendFilm Festival, a four-day celebration of independent cinema, recently received two five-figure donations that will give the nonprofit enterprise a boost.

The city of Bend donated $50,000 to this year's festival. The money comes from bed tax dollars collected from area motels and hotels.....
