Vernon Huston of Madras died Tuesday of natural causes. He was 76.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Omega Funeral Home in Portland.

Mr. Huston was born Aug. 1, 1929, in Jesseville, Ark. He married Jeannine Avery on Feb. 14, 1947, in Portland.
