Wife says Redmond man loved flying and working for company

An experimental aircraft that crashed in southeast Jefferson County on Monday night was carrying two Redmond men.

Darren Salka, 34, and Kevin Roberts, 25, were killed when their two-seat plane dropped from a clear evening sky just north of Highway 26 at the base of Grizzly Mountain.
