Semi-pro-skateboarder-turned-musician opens for pro-surfer-turned-musician in nationwide, multicity tour

The skateboard world 23-year-old Matt Costa came from is rife with hip-hop and punk rock. Costa's music, though, sounds as if it had been buried 40 years ago in an airtight time capsule, unearthed and digitally remastered.

Costa is on tour with Jack Johnson and the Animal Liberation Orchestra.....
