Man and his dog perish in Prineville fire

A Prineville man and his dog died in a house fire Wednesday night, caused by a power outlet overloaded with outdated electrical cords.

According to Fire Prevention Specialist Casey Kump of Crook County Fire and Rescue, fire crews were called to 405 5 1/2 St. at about 9:15 p.m. They arrived....
