Teen drowns in Carl Lake

16-year-old foreign exchange student was on camping trip

The body of a 16-year-old Korean boy who drowned Wednesday evening in Carl Lake, 10 miles northwest of Camp Sherman, was recovered early Friday morning, according to a release from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
