Melvin Edward Plemmons of Ritter died July 19 of a heart attack. He was 55.

A graveside service was held.

Mr. Plemmons was born March 24, 1950, to Edgar and Gladys (Ledar) Plemmons in Myrtle Point. He married Janice Pitzer.
