Nation's ski visits dropped slightly in 2004-05 season

Skiers and snowboarders continued to hit the nation's slopes in near-record numbers last season, despite warm spells that cut skier visits by more than half in parts of the Pacific Northwest, according to an updated national survey released Saturday.
