Angler lands big brown on first day fishing at Wickiup this year

Rick Ham of Bend landed a 23-pound, 36-inch brown trout on Sunday at Wickiup Reservoir.

The fish is the largest brown trout caught at Wickiup so far this year, according to Pat Walling, an employee at Twin Lakes Resort, where the fish was weighed and measured.
