It's summer: Leash your dog and hit the trails

Most areas are clear of snow

The snow has receded and it's summer playtime in the Central Oregon Cascades.

According to Deschutes National Forest trails specialist Chris Sabo, there are still snow drifts on the South Sister Climbers Trail above Moraine Lake and on the heights of Broken Top.
