Between 10,000 and 20,000 attend Sisters' popular event

Retired Portland police officer Darrel Schenck joked that he came to Sisters Saturday for the "quilt chicks."

In reality, Schenck was one of the many men out with their wives at the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show.

There are no exact figures for attendance at the annual stitching....
