Bend ordinance hasn't hurt charities' fireworks sales

After fireworks light the darkness Monday night, the fireworks tents and stands dotting the region will begin shutting down.

Run by volunteers, the stands that provide pyrotechnic thrills also serve as two-week cash generators for charitable organizations.
