Sheriff: Inmate's death suspected to be caused by a drug overdose

An inmate died while in Jefferson County Sheriff's Office custody on Thursday after apparently overdosing on drugs in the Jefferson County Jail.

Bo Gene Ortiz, 39, of Warm Springs, died in an ambulance sometime after 1:19 a.m. while on his way to Mountain View Hospital in Madras, said Sheriff....
