WASHINGTON -

When their father died in Vietnam, Joyce was 10. Her brother Rob was only 8, and their brother Chuck was 9.

Their father, Chief Warrant Officer Raymond Charles Wilde, died at the age of 34 on Jan. 11, 1963, when his helicopter was gunned down by enemy fire.
