Organizers expect local arts, crafts, crops and sweets

Jefferson County generates twice as much income from farm crops than Deschutes or Crook counties, but it's never had a farmer's market - until now.

The Madras Saturday Market opens at 9 a.m. at Friendship Park, next to Westside Elementary School on Highway 97.
