Simultaneously grossed out and delighted by the concoction at their desks, the sixth-graders dipped a feather into a jar of oily water. This was science learned "Storyline"-style.

As far as the Pilot Butte Middle School students knew, there was an oil spill off the Galapagos Islands.....
