Pacific Power customers should not see rate change due to acquisition

MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company will purchase PacifiCorp, the parent company of Pacific Power, from Scottish Power, in a deal valued at approximately $9.4 billion, the companies announced Tuesday.

The $9.4 billion sale includes $5.1 billion in cash and approximately $4.3 billion in debt....
