Oregon Transportation Commission to decide on state, local funding for Cooley-Hwy. 97 intersection in August

The city of Bend agreed on Monday to extend the deadline for Wal-Mart to submit missing information for its application to build a Supercenter at the north end of town.

The new deadline is Aug. 31. Wal-Mart requested the extension and agreed to freeze the countdown on the state-mandated 120-day....
