Unlike some of his competitors, Steve Romine wasn't sporting a feather boa or wearing a kilt.

But judging from the cheers and applause that greeted the 92-year-old Washington resident as he crossed the finish line of the 2005 U.S. Bank Pole Pedal Paddle, he still stole the show.
