The initial diagnosis was grim.
"Adenocarcinoma located on the head of the pancreas abutting the superior mesenteric vein," said Ann Moore, of Bend, repeating the technical words that changed her life. "That was my initial, yucky diagnosis."
Mixed in with the medical jargon....
