Everyone is good at something. David Welch of Bend is good at a lot of things - particularly anything athletic, be it as competitor, coach or counselor.

Welch grew up in England, playing rugby. He quit playing that sport in 1977 at the age of 34 and took up a variety of other athletic pursuits.....
