Studded tire extension ends today

Motorists caught with traction devices on their vehicles after midnight could face $141 fines

Today is the last day studded tires are legal in Oregon until Nov. 1.

After midnight tonight, the tires cannot legally be used in the state. Drivers with studded tires can be charged with a class C traffic violation. The base fine is $141.
