Forest fuel reduction plans resume

Kelsey project would reduce brush on 9,530 acres south of Bend

Deschutes National Forest officials are again making plans to reduce fuels on about 9,530 acres south of Bend's urban growth boundary and northeast of Sunriver.

Planning for this project, called the Kelsey Vegetation Management Project, started in 1999.
