BAKER CITY - Ione outscored Gilchrist 23-12 in the fourth quarter as the Cardinals beat the Grizzlies 55-44 Friday morning at the Class 1A girls state championship basketball tournament.

By virtue of the loss, Gilchrist (21-5 overall) was eliminated from the tournament.
