School bonds' rates to drop

Taxpayers will save nearly $12 million

Although the impact on taxpayers' wallets won't show up for several years, property owners in the Bend-La Pine School District will eventually save almost $12 million and see their rates drop due to the recent refinancing of portions of two bonds.
