Bend residents hope Measure 37 will let them turn the family farm into family housing

Over the course of more than half a century, the Nelson family raised potatoes, dairy cows and hay on a picturesque patch of irrigated land northeast of Bend.

Today, after passage of Measure 37, they figure their next cash crop will be rooftops.
