Springlike conditions clinging to trails

Frustrated by lack of snow? Hit lower trails with a bike

While Bend was locked in a freezing, foggy inversion early this week, the local mountains were basking in sunshine and warmer temperatures.

"Conditions up high are very springlike," said Deschutes National Forest trails specialist Chris Sabo.
