Crook County wrestling appeal denied

Cowboy grapplers will be without their head coach for state tournament

Mike Shinkle will be in Salem this week. But he won't be permitted to coach his wrestling team.

Shinkle on Wednesday lost an appeal to allow him to coach the eight Crook County High School wrestlers who have qualified for the Class 4A state championships. The three-day tournament gets under way....
