Wal-Mart plans a Supercenter for Bend

A Wal-Mart Supercenter could be coming to Bend's north end.

For nearly a year, two Portland-area companies have been buying land on the northwest corner of the intersection of Cooley Road and Highway 97.

Last month they purchased the final pieces, including the Bend Kampground, clearing the way....
