Controlled burn held south of Bend

Fuel specialists burned 146 acres south of Bend on Tuesday afternoon, according to a release from officials at the Deschutes and Ochoco national forests.The controlled burn occurred near the Swamp Wells horse camp and trailhead, about eight miles southeast of Bend, the release said.
