Public works crew unwittingly pulls rare, historicAsian vine

REDMOND - A Redmond Public Works crew didn't notice anything special about the tangle of brownish vines they removed from the site of the old city hall recently.

The work crew cut away the twisted vine and chunks of a gnarled juniper stump in an effort to clean up the lot.
