Housing subsidies face cuts

Cuts in federal housing assistance could hit Central Oregon with a $400,000 punch - dropping 55 to 80 households from a program that helps poor people pay their rent, according to Cyndy Cook, executive director of the Central Oregon Housing Authority (CORHA).
