Here's a fly that you might want to try this spring on the lower Deschutes or Klamath River or anywhere else you might expect to see a good stonefly hatch.

Fish the Pete's Treat close to the bottom, beneath a strike indicator, possibly in tandem with a heavily-weighted pattern like Kauffman's....
