La Pine fire chief resigns

Jim Court resigned from his job as fire chief of the La Pine Rural Fire Protection District, he said Wednesday.

He delivered a written letter of resignation to the district's board of directors at its monthly meeting Tuesday night.

In a phone interview Wednesday, Court did not disclose a reason....
