Hiking conditions decent; avoid the mud

Snowmobilers will have to wait for more snow

The snow is building, but there still isn't enough for safe snowmobiling at the Central Oregon Cascades sno-parks.

According to Deschutes National Forest trails specialist Chris Sabo, conditions are marginal for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at Dutchman Sno-park.
