Not long ago, Liz Hewitt was trying to reach her friend, Gail Dubisar, who lives in Culver.
Dubisar's husband of 32 years, Leo, answered the phone. He informed Hewitt that his wife was in Bend, playing volleyball. And she was leaving early the next morning for an out-of-state volleyball....
