Oregonians buckle up

State ranks third in country for safety belt use, at 92.6 percent

Safety belt use in Oregon, up from 90.4 percent last year to 92.6 percent this year, is now the third highest in the country, reducing the number of crash fatalities in the state, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.
