School required to offer transfers after falling short of federal mark

Parents of La Pine Middle School students will have the option to transfer their children to La Pine Elementary, Three Rivers or Pilot Butte Middle School - depending on grade level - after La Pine Middle School failed to meet requirements within the federal No Child Left Behind Act.
