Jefferson County faces jail nurse shortage

Two of three part-time nurses on staff will be leaving in the fall

MADRAS - Jefferson County commissioners tentatively approved a raise and bonus for jail nurses Wednesday in hopes the move will put an end to staffing shortages that have plagued the Sheriff's Office for years.
