An 85-year-old man crashed into a Pacific Power and Light power pole in the area of NW Newport Avenue and NW Grove Road Tuesday evening. He was not injured. John Hoover, of Bend, was driving westbound on NW Newport Avenue in a 1998 Acura when he failed to negotiate a turn and struck the power....
