On the count of three, they plunged nose first into the golden baked pies, their faces disappearing into a goopy sea of deep-purple-colored marionberries.
Like porpoises, they surfaced only long enough for air, pie chunks dripping from their chins, crumbs in their eyelashes, strands of hair....
