First fire hits area

1,400-acre blaze draws 150 firefighters to Warm Springs

A small fire that erupted at 3 p.m. Sunday among pine trees on the Warm Springs Indian reservation off Highway 26 exploded to more 1,400 acres by Sunday night, making it the first big fire in Central Oregon this season.
