The mosquitoes are out in droves and almost all the non-wilderness trails in the Central Oregon Cascades are free of snow.

The only lingering snow in the non-wilderness areas of the Bend-Fort Rock District of the Deschutes National Forest is on the Metolius-Windigo Trail from Todd Lake to Happy....
