Fatal accident closes Highway 97 at Vandevert Road

A head-on crash between two recreational vehicles on Highway 97 late this morning killed two people, seriously injured several others, and forced the closure of Highway 97.

Highway 97 at Vandevert Road, south of Sunriver, was closed for hours as the accident was investigated, according to ODOT....
