Bend resident makes disc K9s his main career

J.D. Platt just might have the rarest of occupations.

The 34-year-old former pro snowboarder from Bend has been, among other things, a disc dog entertainer and competitor for seven years, but now he does it full time.

And he won't be quitting his job anytime soon - with good reason.
