REDMOND - Cpl. Jeremy Christiansen of Redmond thought his last day in the Oregon Army National Guard would be today.

Now he and his fellow soldiers are preparing for possible deployment overseas to Iraq.

His unit, G Troop of the 116th Cavalry Brigade, headquartered in Redmond, got word Sunday....
